What we collect

Structured experience reports can include reporter contact information, provider information, interaction details, standardized practice observations, narrative context, and optional redacted supporting files. Administrative review records may include evidence-review status, right-of-reply dates, and provider responses.

What becomes public

Public profiles may identify providers and show the number of approved experiences, counts of reviewed positive and concern signals, evidence-confidence levels, accepted evidence counts, practice ratings when the minimum rating threshold is met, repeated practice patterns when the repetition threshold is met, public summaries, right-of-reply status, provider statements, and rating history. Reporter names, contact information, individual patient stories, and the specific label of a one-off structured observation are not published as part of the directory.

Provider right of reply

Before a new submission can affect the public directory, Compass can send the provider a reviewed, de-identified provider-facing description and limited contextual information needed for a meaningful response. The reporter's contact information is not included.

Supporting files

Uploaded files are stored for review and are not automatically public. Each evidence item is separately accepted or rejected for Evidence Confidence. Reporters are responsible for removing PHI and unnecessary third-party identifiers before upload.

Retention and security

Raw submissions may be retained for verification, auditability, right-of-reply, and directory integrity. De-identified and aggregate records may be retained longer to preserve rating history. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your responsibility

Submit only information and documents you have the right to share. Remove PHI before submission. Email is not a suitable channel for PHI.
